a Ph.D. candidate in computer science
How time flies! I am starting my fourth year as a Ph.D. student in Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Professor Klara Nahrstedt is my research advisor. I'm affiliated with the MONET group. Before I came to the United States, I completed my undergraduate studies at Zhejiang University. My research interests include multimedia processing and communication, distributed systems, human-computer interface, and tele-immersion.

- Our paper "Dynamic Overlay Multicast in 3D Video Collaborative Systems" is accpeted by ACM NOSSDAV'2009.
- I got the award for IBM Watson Emerging Leader in Multimedia.
- Our paper "Implementing a distributed 3D tele-immersive system" is accepted by IEEE International Symposium on Multimedia (ISM2008).
