Research:

My research interests are computer networks and distributed systems with focus on the following topics:
  • Internet routing and traffic engineering
  • Network reliability and survivability
  • Overlay networks and network QoS

My Ph.D. dissertation focuses on the resilient Internet routing framework, especially the Border Gateway Protocol. My approach consists of two phases: (1) understanding the reliability of the routing infrastructure, (2) improving the routing resilience by appropriate protocol extensions or configurations. More details related to the project can be found here.
