Description:
The seminar will cover papers with selected topics in the area
of multimedia operating systems. The first half of the semester will be
devoted
to CPU, Disk management for multimedia
and their implementations. The second half of the semester will cover
communication and distributed systems and multimedia related problems.
Evaluation:
Each student must present several
papers. The grade will be based on paper presentations (50 %) and
participation in discussions (50%).
Readings:
The papers are on reserve in Grainger library.
