Selected Topics on Multimedia and Security Issues

Description:
The seminar will cover papers with selected topics in the area
of multimedia and security. The first half of the semester will be devoted
to general security papers discussing issues such as RSA, DES, various
security algorithms and protocols
such as key distribution protocols, authentication, digital signatures,
and their implementations. The second half of the semester will cover
security issues in multimedia systems, encryption algorithms of
audio and video information as well as copyright and watermarking algorithms
applied to multimedia information.
Evaluation:
Each student must present several
papers. The grade will be based on paper presentations (50 %) and
participation in discussions (50%).

The papers are on reserve in Grainger library.
